Got a message saying a new payee was added through the Halifax app on 13th October at about 10:23 pm. I’m pretty sure I didn’t do this, so just a heads up if you get something like that, check it out right away. The number it came from was 07367950416. Stay safe!

I got a text saying a new payee was added to my Halifax account on 13/10 using their mobile app. Thing is, I didn’t do any of that. If anyone else gets this and hasn’t done it, better check out: https:\\ newpayeehalifax[###] just to be safe.

Just had a call from someone pretending to be from Halifax saying that I’d added a new payee through the Halifax app. They told me to log in to this sketchy link [#]newpayeehalifax[###] which is a total scam - it’s how they get access to your account and empty it. This all went down at 10.01pm on Tuesday 13/10/20. If you’ve already fallen for it, ring Halifax straight away on 034567950416, it’s really urgent. They use the name Jonathan Linday to rip you off. Stay safe, folks!

I just got a message saying a new payee was added on 13/10 through my Halifax app. Thing is, I didn’t do this. If anyone else sees this and it’s not them, you might want to check out https:\\ newpayeehalifax[###] asap. Seems a bit dodgy to me.
