SCAM ALERT! Got a text out the blue from some dodgy number pretending to be Halifax Security saying: "New payee (Mrs K Adams) added through Halifax mobile banking on 04/10/20 at 20:35. If this wasn’t you, check: [#]secure-halifaxonline[###]." I saw a post here about the very same message but with a different phone number - 07593 894296. Looks like just another trick to catch people out. Beware!

Got a message off this number saying a new payee was added using a different device on the Halifax banking app. They told me if it wasn't me, I needed to click on the link in the text. Total scam, watch out!
