Mate, can we get the name K#### Q#### banned from these boards? It’s dragging this site down and just giving trolls a spot to mess about. Anyone getting calls from this number needs to report it straight to Action Fraud, specifically under their ‘report phishing’ section. Make sure to follow all the steps online, especially what they ask for on the final page. The police really do act on this stuff and do nab people, but they need us to all chip in with details first.

This afternoon, I got a call from some bloke with a really thick Asian accent. He was going on about how I’m under investigation for some tax fraud and that I supposedly owe HMRC around £5000. It sounded dodgy to me.

I got a call from some robot voice saying my National Insurance number was being cancelled and that I’d be arrested. I was a bit alarmed but ended up just hanging up. I reckon if an older, confused person answered, they might’ve fallen for it. Tried ringing the number back anonymous, but it just kept ringing out.

Had a call from someone claiming to be with HMRC, said they were looking into me. They told me I had to cough up £500 or I'd be facing arrest with a warrant out. Proper scary stuff, especially as I heard another comment about how these scams often target older folk. Really awful behaviour.

I just got a robo call telling me I'm under investigation for tax fraud, total rubbish! I blocked the number straight away, can't stand these fake alerts.
