So I got a call claiming to be from HMRC, and I asked them why they weren’t calling from a proper landline. Then a minute later, I get a call back... but this time the number showed up as San Antonio, Texas! Definitely fishy.

So far, I’ve got four calls from some car company saying I made a fake claim. They threaten that if I don’t ring them back, the police will turn up and arrest me! Still waiting for the police to show though. Seriously, don’t bother calling them back - it’s a total scam!!!

I just received a call from this number, and it was a call centre from India! They had a robotic voice pretending to be HMRC, talking about some tax fraud issue. Just so you know, HMRC only contacts you by letter! Don’t listen to them, and definitely don’t press option 7. It’s a scam call from HMRC scammers. Hang up as soon as you get the call!

Lately, I've been getting loads of calls from 07366370858. They keep telling me that I’m gonna get arrested for not paying tax or something and insist I should call them back. I never do and wouldn’t anyway. The way they speak is proper scary and would freak out quite a few folks. If that number rings you, best just block it so they can’t bother you again.
