Got a call saying it was from O2, my phone company, warning me my number would be cut off in two days unless I agreed to a new deal. Thing is, I switched away from O2 ages ago. Pretty clear this was a scam call and not to be trusted.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, but their accent sounded really odd. They wanted to know if I’d had any problems with the service. I told them I don’t use it much, so couldn’t really say. Then, out of nowhere, they just hung up on me.

When I picked up, the caller was chatting in a foreign tongue but then switched to really broken English. Didn’t bother staying on the line, just hung up straight away. Totally sounded like a scam or some unwanted call. Both those numbers are blocked now.

Then they put me through to their manager, who sounded alright at first. But I just couldn’t help cracking up, and that’s when they ended the call.
