I got a text from this number containing a link to supposedly order a Covid Test Kit over the web. I suspect it could be a scam, so I’m not acting on it. The NHS Covid App on my phone hasn’t alerted me about anything like that.

I got a message from this number on the 13th of May claiming that I’d been in touch with someone who had tested positive for the latest COV-19 variant. It advised me to visit a certain site to request a testing kit. I clicked the link, and they charged me £2.48 for postage, which was deducted from my bank account. However, I've not received any further updates, and when I tried the link again today, it seems to be defunct. Thankfully, nothing else has been withdrawn from my account, but I’m planning to reach out to the bank just to be safe.

I received a message indicating that I've been in touch with an individual who has tested positive for the latest variant of COVID-19. It advised me to head over to the NHS website at nhs.service.book-testing.com/?book to order a testing kit. I should definitely get that sorted out!
