Just got a message saying a new device added a payee on my Halifax account. Thing is, I don't even have an account with Halifax. If you get it and don’t know what it is, better not click any links. This has scam written all over it.

Same here. Looks like some phishing or scam message to me. It said something like, “Halifax: a new device has added a payee. If this isn’t you, check [#]login-my payments[###].” I’ve never even opened an account with Halifax, so it’s definitely dodgy.
