Got a text saying it was from Halifax about activating a new phone for mobile banking. I don’t even have an account with them, but it looked pretty genuine. If you do use Halifax, watch out for this sort of message, it might be dodgy.

Got a text supposedly from Halifax saying a new device was added to my mobile banking or something. Pretty obvious it’s a phishing scam trying to freak people out. I don’t even have an account with Halifax, so it’s just silly that they think anyone would fall for that.
