Got a text from halifax plc security saying my Samsung 6 was registered successfully. The message had weird words like alertnewadviceaded[###] in it. Definitely a scam, be careful!

Received a message sayin I registered a new phone with them. It said HALIFAX PLC SECURITY at the top and claimed I had just registered a SAMSUNG S6 on 17/10/20 around 3:44pm. If it wasn’t me, it told me to cancel using some weird code: [#]h-plc-alertnewdeviceadded[###]. Looked really shady to me, probably a scam.
