I got a text from this number saying something like, "Get your tax refund of £182.21 at (some dodgy gov site) before 07/10/2020." Honestly, don’t trust it or tap any links they send you. Best thing to do is just block the number or mark it as spam on your phone.

You’ll never get a call from HMRC on a mobile saying you have a tax refund waiting. These annoying scammers really need to be stopped and punished. It’s about time someone cracked down on them.
