Got a text from MyThreeAlerts saying my number would be blocked and services stopped. They included a link to update info if it was a mistake, but I don’t even have this provider. Bit fishy if you ask me.

I got a text out of the blue saying my number’s been set up as a payee with HSBC. Bit weird since I don’t even bank with HSBC, so no idea if it’s legit or just some scam.

Got a text saying MyThreeAlerts: Services gonna get cut off and number blocked. Told me to click a link to fix it if it was wrong. Sounded dodgy to me, so I didn’t touch it.

Got a text saying “New payee added via mobile HSBC bank” with a link to click on it. I don’t even have an account with HSBC, so I reckon it’s gotta be some kind of scam. Definite warning, don’t click that link!

Got a text saying "HSBCUK: Payee added using your phone. If this wasn't you, cancel it by clicking the link: [#]safepayee-secure[###]/hsbc." I have no HSBC account at all, so I just blocked the number straight away.

I just got a text saying "Payee added using your phone". It included a link to cancel if it wasn't me. I’d advise against clicking on that link - it might be risky!
