I got a message that totally freaked me out, talking about my national insurance number and threatening court unless I call 07309798513. These lot are proper scammer, trying to scare people, especially older folks. Honestly, not cool at all. Everyone should report these scammers. I was really unsettled by it.

I got a message that really freaked me out because it said they were going to take me to court and use my National Insurance number if I didn’t call back on 07309798513. Sounds like a proper scam to me. They’re definitely not the kind of people you want to mess with, especially if you’re older. Just wanted to warn others to watch out and report these dodgy callers!

Got a call from this number yesterday but thanks to BT’s call blocker, the phone didn’t actually ring and no voicemail was left. It seems they didn’t want to identify themselves, so we wouldn’t pick up. After reading all the other reviews, we’ve decided to just block the number altogether.

Got a call from some bloke with a posh accent claiming to be from HMRC. He said there’s a court case against me and this was the last chance to sort it out. Every time I get a scam call, text or email, I always report it. If people don’t keep reporting these things, the police won’t know how big the problem really is. Just search 'action fraud' and pick the 'police.uk' website, then head to the part where you can report phishing. You don’t need to sign up or anything, and it’s as quick as posting a comment on any forum. Really easy way to help out!

I'm honestly shocked by the way these scammers operate. HMRC never calls people directly to tell them about fraud, they always send a letter first so everything’s on record. If there was a problem with your tax, you’d get something in writing asking you to get in touch. I do my self assessment properly online and even if mistakes happen, I always make sure to sort it out legally. Don’t fall for this kind of scam, it’s just not how HMRC works!

Constant warnings, warnings everywhere. They mentioned something about a "case with a magistrate judge" - what even is that? Then they told me to ring the HMRC Hotline on 07309798523.
