Got a random WhatsApp message from this number, it had a picture attached but I didn’t dare open it. The preview said something like “I’m back at home now Kesh, thanks for the matcha….”. Problem is, my name isn’t Kesh, and the profile pic shows some young woman I’ve never seen before. Feels dodgy to me, probably some sort of phishing scam going on here.

BEWARE, this is a TOTAL RIP-OFF. Loads of people have been tricked into handing over large sums lately - it’s gotten worse all through September. These scams are popping up more and more, so never ever hand over your personal details or bank info. If you get a dodgy call, message or letter, make sure to alert Action Fraud straight away.
