Got a text from this number claiming to be HSBC, saying a payment to Mrs K Adams was made. They told me to click a link if it wasn’t me. Totally obvious scam trying to trick people. I just blocked and deleted the message straight away.

Got a voicemail from 07307077840 asking me to make a payment from my bank account. Surely a scam, especially since it came right after i made an online purchase. Since i dont even have an HSBC account, i looked up the number on the 'who called[###]' website and yep, dodgy as expected. Its shocking how shameless these scammers are. I was tempted to swear but thought better of it.

Got a message from HSBC saying someone called MRS K ADAMS asked for a payee on my account. If it wasn’t me, they said to check my online banking. Bit worried tbh!

Totally a scam call. They claimed to be from HSBC and brought up someone called K Adams, who I've heard nothing but bad things about. Just block them and mark as spam, don’t bother answering.

I always have a look at these texts because banks rarely include a mobile number in their messages. This time, someone named Mrs K Adams was supposedly making a payment request. They also put a link in there - don't even think about clicking on it!

Got a message from Nationwide about a payee request by some R Davies on my account. If you didn’t make this, be careful - feels like a scam to me.

Got a weird text saying something about HSBC and a payee request for a Mrs K Adams on my account using mobile banking. It asked me to check a link if I wasn’t the one who did it: security.hsbc.accounts-team-o[###]. Problem is, I don’t even have an HSBC account. So yeah, definitely seemed like a dodgy scam to me. Did not press the link, just ignored it.
