I got one of those automated calls from someone pretending to be the IRS, saying it was a last chance warning and threatening legal action. At the end of the message, they left a number with a 202 area code. This is definitely a scam! The IRS doesn't ring you up threatening to take you to court. If you happen to get a call like this, make sure to report it to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration via http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml. Don’t get caught out!
