Had a call today, 13/02/2021, from an automated voice claiming to be from HMRC. It said I was being looked into for not paying taxes and if I didn’t press 1 to talk to them, I’d be arrested. I just ended the call straight away. Pretty sure it’s a scam because HMRC doesn’t reach out like that.

Got a weird call where I could hear loads of Indian voices chatting in the background. Looks like it was one of those dodgy call centre scams for sure.

So, I picked up the phone before my BT call guardian could handle it, and this lady with an Asian accent wanted to talk to me. When I asked what it was about, she just hung up. Weird experience.

I got a call on my work mobile and the person spoke with a strange accent asking for the old owner of the phone. When i told them it wasn't me, they just cut off. This has happened from different numbers a few times now. Pretty sure its a scam.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent claiming her name was Susan. She said “yeh right, I’m called Gupta” and just hung up on me. Well, that was a weird one!

these calls never seem to end, they ring me nearly every single day. i dont get why they dont try to find a real job instead of botherin people with all this consumer stuff. its pretty clear they’re just scammers, really pathetic if you ask me.

Honestly, I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know, especially if they don’t bother leaving a message. I just go ahead and block them straight away. After reading what others have said, it seems like the smartest thing to do.

They kept ringing me up to do some survey, and I told them not to bother calling anymore. I've blocked the number, but they just use a different one each day to phone me again. It's really annoying!
