I’ve had quite a few calls from someone claiming to be Microsoft support, saying there’s some issue with my computer. Obviously, it’s a load of rubbish. When I called them out on it, they started being really rude and aggressive. Totally shady behaviour if you ask me.

This morning (9th May 2015) I got a call from this number. There were two people on the line, sounded like Asian, a bloke and a lass, noisy background like an office. They claimed I’d given my number when setting up my computer (not sure about that). Funny enough, my PC did crash recently - some dodgy Windows driver, I think - and I’ve been trying to sort it out myself. These folks from Bradford said they could fix the problem but wanted me to pay. I told them I was handling it, then they hung up. Tried calling back via 1471 but couldn’t get through on the number displayed. Could just be a weird coincidence, or maybe something sneaky involving malware on my PC sending them info. Seems like a proper scam waiting to happen.
