They were incredibly discourteous and insistently called me back, despite my clear indication that I had no interest in their services. It speaks volumes about their lack of etiquette, which I find quite unsettling. The accounts I've read from others align perfectly with my own experience. At this point, I’ve resorted to simply hanging up on them. Thankfully, come September, BT are rolling out a blacklist feature that should put a stop to these intrusions. I’m definitely planning to take advantage of that!

He kept insisting that he'd ring me back in an hour, then supposedly the next morning. I had to put my foot down, clearly stating he mustn't contact me again. I insisted that I would get in touch when it suited me, making him reiterate that he wouldn’t ring me anymore.

I picked up a BT 8500 with three handsets last Christmas and it’s been brilliant at keeping rubbish calls away. What I did was save all my friends and family numbers in it, so if a number’s not recognised it has to say who they are before you answer.
