So, I got this call warning me that there’s some claim in my name that got frauded or something, and they kept saying I should ring HMRC right away or else I’d get arrested. I tried getting the police involved but they just said there was nothing they could do. The problem is I haven’t got any phone credit to ring HMRC, and nobody in my family or mates can lend me any either. It’s pretty stressful, especially since I deal with anxiety and panic attacks. Honestly, I’m pretty sure it’s a scam because I’ve never heard HMRC actually call people up like that.
