Avoid picking up this number, it’s supposedly from BT but the person on the line is really aggressive and rude. This needs to be reported to the police immediately, they should deal with them fast!

Honestly, it baffles me that BT and other phone companies don’t just block these nuisance calls straight away. Why are we still having to put up with this rubbish? They really ought to be fined heavily and locked up for doing this. Reporting them feels like a waste of time since nothing ever changes.

Same as everyone else’s experience really, this automated voice came through, some American bloke sounding, warning me about supposed fraud on my internet. Then they start threatening me with arrest unless I press one. Totally bogus.

Got a call earlier from a lady with a foreign accent warning me that my internet would go off within 24 hours. She told me to press 2 or 3 to speak with TalkTalk about fixing the issue. Sounded dodgy to me!

My landline showed I'd got a message waiting but when I called 1571 there was nothing there. I then tried 1471 and that’s when this number popped up. They’d called right after I’d gone to work, so I’m really glad I didn’t pick up!

Just like others mentioned, I got a recorded call from an American voice pretending to be BT’s tech support. They kept going on about fraud and even threatened me with arrest. Honestly, if they want to send the cops after me, they’ll have some explaining to do. Hopefully, the actual authorities will look into these calls and put a stop to them soon.

Got a call from some American number with a robo message that sounded just like all the other annoying ones. It was pretty threatening. Best to ignore it and definitely don’t hit 1 or anything.

The number was unfamiliar to me so I just ignored it and let it ring through to voicemail. Then I got a message from someone with an American accent saying I was supposedly using my BT phone line illegally, and that I should press 1 to speak to a BT engineer. Since I know I haven’t been doing anything dodgy with my line, I didn’t bother pressing anything!

Honestly, this is happening way too often now. The police need to step up and do something about these scams. They should at least make sure that anyone getting a premium number proves they’re doing it for a proper business purpose. Right now, it’s just open season for con artists and it’s getting out of hand.
