They ring, let it go to two rings and then just drop the call, obviously hoping you'll ring them back. This has happened at least 5 times to me already. I've blocked the number now, can't be bothered.

when i tried ringing back the number, the call went through cos i could tell from the timer counting up but i swear i kept hearing the dial tone like it never really picked up. i only realised it was live cos i had the speaker on otherwise id have thought it was still ringing. seems a bit sketchy to me, probably one of those premium rate scams charging loads without you knowing.
