I received a phone call from this number but chose not to answer. Curiosity got the better of me, so I sent a text inquiring who it was, only to be met with a message stating that my text couldn’t be delivered. After realising the extortionate charges I'd face if I returned the call, I was rather relieved I hadn't. It's absolutely appalling that these scams are allowed to continue. Surely there must be some action taken against this sort of nonsense!

Called me a couple of times and just ended the call both times. After having a look into them, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

Got a call from this number late on a Sunday night, around 8.30, which seemed a bit dodgy so I didn’t pick up. Ended up blocking it, but they keep calling and just switch up the last four digits. The only option is to block any calls beginning with 07098. I’ve done what I can now, so if you get similar calls, block them too and share what happened to you on here!

Got a call at 9.10 on a Sunday night, but they hung up just as I was about to pick up. Straight onto the block list.

I got two rings and then they just hung up. Feels like one of those scammy return call tricks. Apparently, calling back could be really pricey. According to info I've seen on this site, the number 07098700671 can cost anywhere from 4p to 65p per min if you call from a landline (and sometimes there’s also a connection fee which can be as high as 51p). But if you ring it from your mobile, it might cost you between 30p and a whopping £1.50 per minute! So watch out before calling back.

Really peeves me off that these numbers even get allowed, like they’re just there to help scammers make a quick buck.
