Got a call from someone claiming they were with Amazon saying they were about to take £1599 from my bank card, then told me to press 1 to talk to a person. I just hung up straight away. These kind of calls need to be tracked down and the people behind them brought to justice.

I noticed a withdrawal of £1599 from my account by Amazon. When I was prompted to press 1 to connect with a representative to sort out the cancellation, I decided to hang up instead.
