Got a call last Saturday evening around 7.30. The person started off asking how I was then went on about needing my car’s registration number. I questioned why they needed that and why they were ringing so late. The guy sounded annoyed and I told him I suspected it was a scam because no legit call would come at that time. I told him to leave me alone and ended the call. Never share your reg number, it’s connected to your personal details and can be misused.

Twice they tried ringing me today, caught me on the second go. Proper annoyance, the caller starts with "how's it going?" then goes on about a crash I supposedly had - which I definitely haven’t. I told them I’d died in that accident, and they just ended the call straight away. Same thing happened before, I said exactly that, and they dropped the line right away too.

I’ve put them on the TPS list. They keep calling, always starting with “how are you?” then jumping straight into asking about accidents. The moment I mention I’m on the TPS register, they just end the call. Such a pain!
