Honestly, it was so absurdly early that I ended up yanking the phone line from the socket! Received an annoying call at 10.00 pm on Sunday, August 18th, and the line was completely congested. This is just one of numerous firms that misuse telecommunication services, both on mobiles and landlines. Raising a complaint with network providers seems to elicit nothing more than a nonchalant shrug, and Ofcom, as has been the case for years, is utterly ineffectual in addressing these concerns. It’s reminiscent of Rebecca Cameron - all chatter, no action. Oh, hang on, I seem to have conflated her with David Cameron and the Leveson Inquiry! The entities responsible for these dubious numbers ought to have their licenses taken away, but alas, such hopes are mere fantasy for the average individual.
