Got a call from someone claiming to be Santander in Ilford asking if I’d already used my ISA allowance. Told them I had, and they just ended the call straight away.

I’m pretty sure this is Santander calling, not anyone nearby. They ring just to remind you about a meeting or appointment. Definitely not some local number.

Somebody rang me claiming they were calling from Santander in Ilford about my ISA. I told them I’d ring back later. When I checked the phone number for Santander in Ilford (it was not the same one), I gave them a call and was told no-one from their office had tried to contact me. So, I blocked the original number right away.
