I got a rather peculiar call claiming to be from Santander, based in Ilford, inquiring whether I had maxed out my ISA allowance. When I mentioned that I had already done so, they promptly terminated the conversation. Quite odd, really!

I’m quite convinced this number belongs to Santander. It doesn’t seem to originate from around here. They typically ring to give you a nudge about your appointments.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with Santander in Ilford, who mentioned they wished to discuss my ISA with me. I opted to return their call later instead. Upon checking, I found a different number for the Santander branch in Ilford and gave them a ring. To my surprise, they confirmed that nobody from their office had tried to reach out to me. Consequently, I decided to block the number.
