Got a ring supposedly from Santander Bank, sounded legit at first. Still think it’s best to be careful though.

I got a call from a number starting with 055, which doesn’t seem like a regular mobile or landline. I ended up turning it down three times within just a few minutes.

I’ve noticed a charge of £9.95 on my mobile for a call I never made to this number! O2 isn’t keen on processing a refund either. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

I let that one ring out - I tend to ignore any call that doesn’t come from a number I know or trust. If it was something urgent, surely they’d have the decency to try ringing me again. No callback means I’m not losing any sleep over it! This site really helped put my mind at ease and confirmed my gut feeling. Cheers for that!
