Got a call from a guy with an African accent who asked if I was so-and-so and said he thought I owned a particular property. I told him I had no idea what he was on about and that I’d never even heard of that place. He just hung up straight away after that.

Got a call earlier from someone saying they were from Eco-frames asking if I had a conservancy. When I said I’m on the TPS list, he still kept pestering me about the conservancy. After a few rude words from me, he still wouldn’t stop trying to sell Ecoframe stuff. Eventually, I put the boot in and he hung up. Do the real Ecoframe companies know their name’s being used like this? Is this legit or a scam?

Some person with an accent was asking for a 'Mr Armitage Williams' which isn't me at all. I told him I didn’t catch that properly, and then he just mumbled something and hung up. Such a nuisance. Good thing I was right by the phone when he called, or I might have given him a real piece of my mind.

Following that pesky call in November, I've taken the liberty of putting them on my complimentary BT blacklist. It appears they've attempted to reach out once more, but thankfully, BT managed to intercept the call and redirect it to the dreaded junk voicemail. Not a peep left behind! How delightful!
