I received a rather peculiar phone call from a lady with a distinctly eastern accent. She inquired about someone who clearly doesn't reside at this address. When I asked for her identity, she claimed to represent a health centre and proceeded to request my name. I chose not to disclose any information and reiterated my question regarding her identity. After informing her that the individual in question wasn’t known to me, she kept pressing for my name, which I firmly refused to provide. She insisted it was necessary for her records, but I bluntly suggested she simply remove my number from her list and refrain from calling again. Eventually, the conversation became so tiresome that I had to hang up, as her insistence on my name became quite unbearable.

Got a call from the number mentioned above around 9 o'clock this morning. The connection was terrible, and the woman on the line had a Chinese accent. She didn’t explain the purpose of her call at all.

Rang me thrice throughout the day and didn’t bother to leave a message. Quite odd, really!

Here we go again with another caller who doesn’t bother to say a word! We’ve made it a rule not to pick up the phone for any number we don’t recognise or those pesky withheld ones-let the voicemail do its job, I say. Not once has anyone left a message. These irritating calls usually pester us from around four in the afternoon onwards.
