I received a rather dubious robocall purporting to be from the National Crime Agency. They ominously informed me that my assets were at risk of being confiscated and that my National Insurance number had been "rejected" on account of some alleged suspicious activity concerning my identity. They then urged me to press 1 to speak with the appropriate officer. Honestly, it’s nothing more than a brazen scam.
