Was just quiet on the line then a robotic voice cut in and hung up. I'll go ahead and block the number 1572 now.

At the start, there was no sound, then a man with an Indian accent claimed to be from BT, asking if he was speaking with me (using my first initial and last name). I said yes. After that, he got my first name completely wrong and proceeded to say that as a valued customer, I could get 35% off my monthly bill. To sort it, he needed me to provide my direct debit details once more. Nah, no chance!
