Got a recorded call from National Boiler Group claiming I might qualify for some kind of grant if I’m a pensioner. I was a bit cheeky with the bloke on the line since I was off sick from work. Then they rang me back the next day from 08458620716, pushing the same deal but this time mentioning benefits. Had a quick chat with someone called Vanessa, who wasn’t too keen and ended the call pretty sharpish.

Another call with the classic super excited pitch about a brilliant deal on a new boiler. Didn’t bother listening and just ended the call straight away.

I keep getting automated calls from some unknown company about replacing boilers, saying every home has to be rated by the end of 2016. They ask you to press 2 to talk to someone or 9 to get off their list. Loads of calls have come through, all with the same message but using different landline numbers each time. I tried hitting 9 once, but it didn’t prevent anymore calls. Like all the rest with the same spiel, this one’s now blocked on my call blocker too.

Got a robocall from some unknown number, no company name or anything. They were talking about replacing my boiler and trying to scare me by saying that by the end of 2016 all homes had to have new compliant boilers. Then they mentioned government grants or something but I stopped paying attention after that. At the end, the automated voice said to press 2 to hear more or 9 to opt-out. Don’t press any buttons though, could be a sneaky premium rate trap.

I got an automated phone call about replacing my boiler, telling me to press 2 if interested or 9 to opt out. When I pressed 2, as soon as I brought up removing my number from their list, the woman just cut me off. I've had these calls many times and always pressed 9 to be taken off their list, but it never works. I even dialled 1471, noted the number, and called back, but it wasn’t recognised at all. Really frustrating!

The call came through at a rather inconvenient hour, precisely at 16:45 on the 8th of March 2016. I must say, they're nothing short of pestering botherers.
