Real annoying, they kept ringing me again and again, like seven or eight times in total. In the end, I managed to ring 1572 and got them blocked.

Received a call today supposedly from the Fraud Prevention Team at TSB, and they had a rather convincing tone to their voice. Fortunately, I realised they were trying to pull a fast one since I don't even have an account with TSB.

Somebody rang me pretending to be from TSB’s fraud team, but I was a bit wary as I actually teach about scams and fraud stuff. I quickly hung up and looked through my emails, knowing that if there was a real problem, TSB would’ve sent me a note through my online banking. Nothing from them, so I checked this site and saw loads of reports saying it’s a scam. Honestly, don’t bother replying to these calls. These scammers can be really convincing and sound legit, but they’re up to no good!

I got a call from someone saying they were with Nationwide Building Society’s fraud team. I asked them to give me my current balance, but they said the fraud team couldn’t see that kind of info. It was obvious to me it was a scam, so I just ended the call.

Somebody rang me saying they were from TSB, and I was about to believe it but I got a weird feeling. So I just ended the call and checked it out online. Later they phoned again, I told them straight it was a scam, then they just dropped the line.

This morning I got a call from 03459758759, and when I picked up, the bloke claimed to be from TSB Bank. He told me there were a couple of suspicious attempts on my account, involving large sums of money. I tried calling the number back straight away, but it just ended the call as soon as I dialled. Curious, I googled the number and found this site, which suggests it’s probably a scam. I’m seriously worried now and about to check my bank account, feeling really uneasy about the whole thing!

I got a call from someone claiming to be TSB Bank, but I didn’t give them much info - only the last 4 digits of my phone and account number. About ten minutes after I hung up, there were four attempts on my bank account. Three were caught and blocked (£3,600, £870, and £34), but one payment for 38 cents in dollars actually went through. I’ve now reported everything to TSB fraud. Just what I needed on a rough day - my mum passed away just a few hours before all this happened. Really didn’t need the stress today :(

Got a call from someone pretending to be TSB. Didn’t really give them any details, but they asked for the last four digits of my account and some phone numbers they claimed were linked to my account. About ten minutes after hanging up, someone tried to make payments from my TSB card (which doesn’t have an overdraft). Thankfully, most attempts were blocked - £3,600, £380, and £34 all didn’t go through - but one for 30p somehow did! I ended up getting in touch with TSB fraud right away. Honestly, I didn’t need this stress today, especially since I found out just an hour before the call that my mum had passed away very suddenly. These scam folks are absolute lowlifes, hope they get their thrills from messing with a measly 38p.
