I actually got a missed call from this number and wanted to see what was up, so I looked it up here. Since the reviews were a bit all over the place and I have an account with TSB, I decided to ring their official customer service. Funny enough, I also received a text from another TSB number. Apparently, they had put a temporary block on my card because of a ‘dodgy’ payment - it was McAfee trying to renew automatically, and I didn’t want to keep that subscription. Glad it got caught in time! Everything’s sorted now.

Just got a call from this number claiming to be BT Open Reach, saying my IP address was in danger and needed fixing. I haven’t had any issues at all and use Norton Security anyway. The woman on the phone had an Indian accent and pushed me hard, but as soon as I told her I’d check with my son-in-law first, she just hung up on me.

I received a rather peculiar text message from "TSB" regarding an account I don't possess, one that supposedly ends in 4202. The message stated that a new recipient had been added to an account ending in 4204, with the transaction occurring at 09:07:30 on the 16th of January. It advised that, if I had any concerns, I could ring 03459758758 or alternatively +442032841575 when calling from overseas. Additionally, it mentioned that my account 4204 was close to its limit and suggested ensuring there was sufficient balance for future transactions. Quite perplexing, I must say!

Just got a call from 03459758758. We did have a phone appointment with TSB today, but this call was from a very polite lady who said she was calling us sooner than planned. This number is meant to be for the TSB support line and when I ring them they normally ask for standard info. I got another automated call from 'TSB' giving me a one-time 6 digit code to set up a new device and saying to press star if it wasn’t me. I’m a TSB customer and usually pretty alert with this kinda stuff, but it honestly did sound really convincing. I ended the call and had a quick look on here, and my gut feeling was spot on. Some bloke said he was from Creation Finance and that my loan request for £3000 was approved. He went on about the monthly repayments but I just ended the call there. I never applied for any loan like that. Haven't heard from him since.

Got a text from someone claiming to be TSB saying their team would ring me soon about strange activity on my account. Definitely a scam, really obvious one.

14/04/2021 16:30pm This number rang me twice while I was at work, saying it was TSB and that my card had been compromised, they said they were cancelling the card and stopping any pending payments. But actually, they had already emptied my account. They tricked me into visiting a fake Royal Mail website about a parcel I was supposed to get, where I ended up giving my card details. I've reported it to TSB who are investigating as there’s a suspicious payment heading to CRO, which is also a bogus person or company.

Got a call at 8.05 in the morning from someone saying they were from TSB, but Ive never had anything to do with them. I cut the call short right away. Honestly, which real bank rings you up that early? The fact that a few folks on here believe these calls are legit just shows how poor the current safeguards are. Calls like this should definitely be marked as suspicious.

Scammers used my card for a tiny fraud payment just 15 mins ago. They pretended to be from TSB and said they needed to give me a new account and sort code, asking me to move money into it. They called it a "secure account" but DO NOT fall for this! They also want to know if you've got other accounts and will try to scare you by saying someone in London is accessing your account, so you must react quickly. Just end the call without saying anything and ring your bank straight away. They sound really real, but luckily I knew about this trick.

Said he was from Lloyds, had my name, address, DOB and sort code. When I called him out, he got really rude and started threatening me. Said he’d send people round to my place to beat me up (well, not exactly those words).
