She mentioned dodgy transactions and asked if I’d made them. She even told me the last four digits of my card and my birthday, which freaked me out a bit. Then she tried to get me to give my telephone banking PIN. I refused, but she kept insisting, saying the office closes at 5pm and I needed to act quick. I still didn’t give it, and just as she threatened to cancel my telephone banking, the call cut off. I contacted Santander straight away and they said everything with my account is fine - no suspicious activity at all.
