Somebody rang me saying they were with the RBS fraud dept, saying there was suspicious activity on my account. They told me to look up their number online to prove they were actually from the bank. They seemed to know quite a bit about me but when I questioned them, they just ended the call. I rang the bank afterwards and they said it definitely wasn’t them.

Somebody rang me claiming to be with the Royal Bank of Scotland, saying there were two withdrawals about to go through on my account. They surprisingly knew the last four digits of my account number, so it all sounded pretty legit.
