Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Barclays, saying there was a dodgy payment from my account using the Barclays app on a different phone. He told me they'd freeze my card and send a new one out. Asked if I could log into my Barclays app right then so they could remove the other device from my account. I even got a text, supposedly from Barclays, about a new card being sent and that they'd be in touch soon. I just ended the call.

Totally a scam, watch out! The caller said they were from Lloyds Bank’s security team but the ID showed up as "Summit Electrical & Renewables" according to Google. When I questioned them about it, they just cut the call straight away.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the Fraud Investigation team at Lloyds. They mentioned the final digits of my debit card and my residential address, stating that two transactions in Liverpool had raised red flags. I responded to a few straightforward questions, but I made sure not to disclose any passwords or account details. Still, it all felt rather dodgy to me.

This number appears to be associated with spam! It pretends to represent Lloyd's Bank. If you happen to receive a call or a text from this number, it’s best to ignore it completely. Stay vigilant! Just a heads-up: Lloyd's would never reach out to you via phone with requests for card information or security questions. If you find yourself on the receiving end of a call or text that probes for such sensitive details, it’s likely a scam aimed at pilfering from your account. It's crucial that you don’t engage or divulge any personal info, including details about your credit card. Stay safe!
