Reports on phone number 03457404000
3 yearsI received a rather dubious call the other day from someone claiming to be Emma from HSBC. She mentioned some suspicious activity linked to my account, apparently involving a crypto exchange. Naturally, she was keen to find out when I last accessed my mobile banking. Now, the thing is, I don’t use mobile banking at all, so I immediately felt suspicious. Then she insisted on my date of birth for “verification” purposes. At this point, my instincts were fully on alert. So, I decided to press her for the bank's customer service number she supposedly called from. She gave a number ending in 4404, but it didn't match what popped up on my phone’s display. Curious, I did a quick search on another device and discovered it was a banking scam. I confronted her, pointing out that she seemed to be up to no good, and to my delight, she promptly hung up. Quite the experience, I must say!EmmaHSBC4 yearsReceived a call attempting to shift money from my bank account.4 yearsReceived a call claiming to be from TSB, but I’ve no affiliation with them whatsoever. Definitely seems like it was a dodgy scam attempt.TSBSubmit Your Own Report (0345 740 4000)
