Just to warn everyone, I’ve had calls from 03457323436 and 03456020000 pretending to be from Halifax online banking - both turned out to be scams. Stay careful!

I got in touch with the Halifax Financial Crime dept and they told me that the phone number and messages I received were definitely part of a scam.

I got a letter supposedly from Halifax asking me to confirm my country of residence for tax reasons and wanted copies of my ID. I put the phone numbers from the letter into this site and both showed up as scam calls pretending to be from banks. Also, the Halifax font on the letter seemed off, so I’m just going to take it to my local branch rather than trust it.
