For the last three days, they keep ringing my work phone once every day, but the moment I pick up, they just cut off straight away. It's been so annoying!

I got calls on my landline where they immediately ask for me by name, but the minute I say "who’s this?", they just hang up. BT said it’s a tactic to see if you’re actually the owner of the number, so if you block one number, they just call from a different one and do the same thing all over again. Then they move on to ring my mobile. I always just reject it.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from NLS about a car crash. Sounded a bit off to me, not sure if it was legit or just some scam. Would be careful answering unknown calls like this.
