someone called me about an accident claim but it wasnt anything i was involved in, felt really weird and kinda like a scam tbh

I received a call from this number, and when I answered, the lady on the other end requested that I confirm my name along with the last four digits of my bank account. I told her quite firmly that I didn’t need to prove my identity as I already knew who I was, and then she abruptly ended the call!

I reckon this must be about Freeview TV, right? If it’s ringing from a number connected to that, probably just some kind of service call or telesales. I wouldn’t bother answering unless you’re specifically expecting a call about your TV setup. Seems like one of those usual annoying calls though.
