I received a call from someone claiming to be "Jessica" from HSBC using the number 0800 783 8422, who then instructed me to ring back on 0345 6094959. Curiously, no explanation was provided for the call. Both numbers seem to be authentic HSBC contacts. However, when I reached out through the chat feature on my mobile banking app, I was informed that HSBC hadn’t made any calls to me and mentioned that there were no records associated with my account. Quite strange, if you ask me-definitely raises a few eyebrows!
