I got a call from someone saying they were from bank security and were checking up on some online transactions. When I asked which bank the debit card was linked to, they refused to say. Felt a bit dodgy to me, like a scammer trying to get my details. When I asked if they were legit, they just ended the call. Pretty sure it was a fishy number.

I picked up the phone, and the voice on the other end greeted me with a chirpy 'hello'. They went on to say something about me having been in an accident. It took me but a heartbeat to cotton on to the fact that it was just a pre-recorded spiel. The irony? I don’t even possess a bike! 🤪 - Seems like another one of those pesky insurance claims scams.
