Received a call from a chap named Raj, purporting to be from HSBC. I’m rather cautious and never pick up calls from them on my mobile, especially since I haven't provided this number to the bank at all. Stay vigilant, everyone-definitely sounds like a scam!

I received a phone call on my parents' home phone and subsequently on their mobile, with an individual claiming to represent HSBC. They attempted to extract security information from my mother, but thankfully, she had her wits about her and was wary of their intentions. When "Raj" insisted she return the call to the number he provided, she flatly refused. I’m documenting this incident for future reference.
