This is a legit number belonging to Post Office HomePhone and Broadband, specifically their contract centre. If this number contacts you, it means you have a service with Post Office HP&BB. However, if you haven’t signed up for any service with them and still get calls or texts from this number, you can let them know. Got a text like the one below just now. I'm not in the middle of moving at all, so pretty sure it's some kind of scam. Planning to call their Customer Service tomorrow to let them know. This message feels quite dodgy. It says: We've had a request to end your services as you're moving and someone else will take over your line. If you aren't moving then please ring our Customer Care on 03456003210.

The 03456003210 number really belongs to the Post Office but scammers have started using it to trick people. They’ll try to get your personal details so they can make money off you somehow. You can count on that being the case.

I accidentally hit the answer button, and then lost the call. 1471 showed this number; it doesn’t seem like a typical one. Bit sketchy, definitely something to report. Feels worse than just “neutral” to me.

I just had a call from this number and like others have said, it ended the call instantly. I don’t doubt the caller ID is linked to the post office broadband, but keep in mind it’s pretty simple for scammers to fake the number you see. So even if the number looks legit, it might not be actually from them. Since the only thing we've done with the post office is buy stamps, I reckon the call probably wasn’t genuine.

This number keeps ringing me non-stop for weeks then stops for a bit before starting back up again. They also seem to use slightly different versions of the number to get past blocks. Definitely AVOID.

I called the post office broadband helpline, and honestly, they were so helpful and patient. I was having issues with my internet, and they actually rang me back from this number, telling me a technician would come to sort it out. The guy called just 6 seconds later, couldn’t believe how quick they were. Everything’s working fine now, big thanks to them!

Just ended my contract with P.O. broadband because the prices kept going up (they weren’t bad at first). I guess they were ringing to try and persuade me to stay, but I don’t pick up numbers I don’t recognise. Looked them up here and found out who it was. If they had a better offer after I cancelled, well, bit too late now!

They keep ringing, but as soon as I answer, they just cut off. Looks like they're hoping I'll phone them back since it's a premium rate number.

I just got a call from a number that after a quick google I found out belongs to the post office customer service. Strange thing is it never showed up as a missed call on my phone. I tried calling it back and sure enough it was the post office. When I told the lady on the other end I had nothing to do with the post office she immediately said it’s likely a scam. Bit odd, really!

Post Office Broadband?! I got three texts saying my order was about to be delivered or something. I never ordered anything, didn’t even realise the Post Office offered broadband. Then I got a call from a woman saying she wanted to talk about my order. Since I hadn’t ordered anything I just ended the call. These messages and calls are all coming through on my mobile. Usually, I get loads of scam calls and emails on my landline, but never on my mobile until now.

A few days back, I reported a problem with my Post Office broadband via email because I wanted a proper record of it. This same number called me twice in quick succession earlier today while I was out. It wasn’t a good time to pick up, so I just let it ring out. There was no voicemail left, and only just now did I check and find out it was from an 0345 number. I’m a bit concerned that since they didn’t get through, they might just close my case. Do I need to begin the whole process again?

Got a call at 7.22 pm on 13 March 2018. It rang about four times and just as I was about to answer, they hung up. Bloody timewasters! I thought it might be the Post Office since I recently switched from Talk Talk after terrible service. No surprise they lost £75m - they really should be nicer to customers. But looks like the Post Office isn’t any better either.

I receive frequent phone calls from a certain number that I choose not to answer because I am listed as ex-directory. It is quite puzzling because the caller shouldn't have access to my number, which is 03456003200. However, there seems to be a mistake in the last two digits; it should actually be 210 instead of 200.

The phone has been ringing for a few times but immediately cuts off when I answer it. It happened twice within the span of an hour. Got two calls this morning (09:37 & 09:38). They didn’t say who they were or leave a voicemail, just came through BT Call Guardian and then ended the call, like they couldn’t be bothered. Had to look up the number myself and found out it was from the Post Office Phone/BB. Rang them back but honestly, it would’ve been much better if they’d introduced themselves properly and left a message with their contact info. Feels pretty unfriendly and not very customer focused. Because I had to waste time tracking them down, I’ve labelled the call as ‘harassing’.

they rang then just dropped the call. i didnt bother ringing back cos ive heard of scams where if u call back some numbers it counts as a call and adds time to ur bill, sometimes hours worth! my last bill was near 300 quid so if it was important they should leave a message, thats all im sayin.
