This is definitely a con, dont click on any links in the message. They say it’s from the Halifax fraud team but the number they use to contact you is 02008385586. If you go on their link, they’ll probably drain your bank account. Be careful out there and keep spreading the word!

I spoke with Halifax myself and they told me this is the number they use when warning customers about suspicious activity on their accounts. Don’t believe the people saying it’s a scam, it freaked me out loads seeing those comments cause I thought I’d been conned, so I rang Halifax just to be sure.
