The very first time this number rang me, it was an automated Barclays message asking if it was my husband, and to press 1 if so or 2 if not. That was back on 1/2/19. Since then they've been calling me every single morning, but never leave a voicemail, and I just don’t pick up.

I got a voicemail supposedly from "Barclays" asking me if I am xxxx and to press 1 if yes, or 2 if no. I just ended the call straight away. I looked up the number here and so relieved I didn’t press any buttons! Real banks usually send letters if they need to contact you.

A man with a posh accent said he was calling from Barclays and asked for my full address and birthday. I said no way and contacted Barclays myself. They confirmed it was a scam. I’ve reported the number to the ICO now.

Someone pretending to be from Barclays called me but couldnt say which department. I double checked with Barclays and it wasnt their number. The guy had an African accent and rudely told me to f**k off. Dont let them dodge your questions, make sure they answer yours.

Got a call from some scammer who refused to say what it was regarding until I answered all their security questions. Just don’t bother, it’s a trick.

This number keeps ringing me nonstop, and something about it just felt off. I'm pretty sure it's some sort of scam. I ended up talking to a couple of people on the line and managed to get their names out of them. I've passed all the info along to Barclays' Fraud Team and now I'm waiting for them to call back. I also checked and there’s no mention of any calls like this on my account notes, which is odd. My tip? Just hang up straight away, or if you fancy wasting some time, have a chat with them about something deep, like the meaning of life!

Got a couple of missed calls from this number and decided to ring back. After I did, a voicemail said it was Barclays bank. Just to be safe, I looked it up on the Barclays site by entering the number and it said it wasn't one of their official numbers. The website showed:
"03453310011 is not linked to any active Barclays phone line. Make sure you entered the digits correctly. If you're certain, contact us at 0345 734 5345."

So yeah, definitely not legit.
