Got an email pretending to be Lloyds bank, saying there was a mistake with a payment into my account and asking me to ring a number to sort out paying it back. The number was almost the same as the real Lloyds customer service line and they even had all the payment info, so it seemed pretty legit.

Got a text saying I should call 0345000101 about a payment request from 11 days ago. The message didn’t include the last 4 digits of the account number which seemed off, so I didn’t bother calling. I’d already got an email from my bank saying the payment went through fine. They were pretty sneaky, using the right payment references. Just a heads up, always use the number on your debit or credit card to check, whether it’s a call or a text. Oh, and it was Lloyds bank they were pretending to be.

Another spam call. I never pick up if the number's hidden or not in my contacts. If it really matters and it's legit, they'll leave a voicemail and then I'll return the call.

I reckon I missed a couple of calls from this number during the week, hung up straight away cos somethin felt off, so didn’t catch any details about the money they wanted. Just didn’t seem legit to me.
