I rung up an old lady and asked what her favourite colour was, then told her she had some money waiting and she should ring this number back.

Sounds like a classic voucher scam to me. Can't trust those calls at all!

Just went through something similar - told them I wasn’t interested and they ended up being really rude, just hanging up on me. They were saying something about charging my card if I didn’t cancel in 14 days? I definitely have no plans to buy this Well Being plan. Didn’t provide any card info either - watch out for these lot!

Watch out, they say they’ll send you shopping vouchers within 3 to 5 days, and then try to sign you up for a wellness plan costing £70 a year. Sounds pretty believable at first, but I’d be cautious.
