Got a call from 0345 174068 about some voucher deal, offering me £70 plus an extra £20. Then they talked about a monthly charge of £19.99. I told them I wasn’t interested in the free voucher but the person on the phone wouldn’t cancel it, saying there’s no such thing as free stuff. When I tried to tell him not to send the voucher, he just got annoyed and wouldn’t listen. Then he said if I didn’t get the voucher, I should ring him back, and gave me a number which I’m pretty sure is fake. I told him if this was a scam, I’d report it straight away.

I picked up when this number rang and the woman on the other end sounded a bit flustered when she heard a male voice - that was me. She paused and said she thought she may have got the wrong number, then asked to speak with 'Mrs ****' (who's my mum). I told her she wasn't here just now, then she asked when would be a good time to call back as it was "very important" and that she was ringing from The Reward Club.
